Sometimes you’re not ready to handle what life throws at you—and it can really rock your world. The most important course of action to take is not to fight with your emotions. We’re not robots. Some people handle things differently and that’s ok.

As we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday, we need to focus not only on the good times, but we also need to reflect on the “bad” times. Why? It’s what made us who we are. Just don’t focus or dwell on the past. Whatever happened just acknowledge it, accept it, and learn from it. DON’T IGNORE IT.

Be Thankful For The Bad

Surround yourself with positive people. Talk with your friends and family. It’s in these times that you need to rely on people who care about you.

Here are 5 things that I’m thankful for:

1. My Health
2. My Children
3. My Family & Friends
4. My Business
5. My Customers

During this time of giving thanks, often times we are just thankful for the “good” times. Be thankful for the bad times. For it’s those moments that define who you are. It’s the storms we go through that when the sky clears, we appreciate the calm even more.

So, reflect on how you weathered your storm. Embrace your life and the people in it. Be thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving.
